Knight (or King) of Disks

Knights, or Kings as they are sometimes called, really do represent the suit manifested in its purest form. It can indicate one who is enterprising and able to make a success out of anything. The picture cards of a suit are often associated with people, and in this case the card is synonymous with people who could be considered shallow, dull witted, or preoccupied with material things. These people are laborious and patient, working hard to gain in the material world.

Yet their success is instinctual, as though guided by the hands of fate, and they may have little intellectual grasp over the things that affect them most closely. They can lack initiative and common sense, but their path is one of ignorance not malice.

Ill versed this card speaks of people who lack foresight in their own affairs let alone anything outside of them that requires some form of intellectual interest. They do not have the courage or intelligence to better themselves beyond the material, yet are happy to meddle in the paths of those that do. The Knight in this position warns us to watch with great caution those of this demeanour. Keep your friends close but your enemies closer is a wise saying and you would be best placed to heed the warning.
